A reliable open-source tool designed for swiftly capturing and sharing system logs. Root access is a prerequisite for extracting all logs, but manual authorization for the main log (Logcat) can be granted via ADB:

• adb shell pm grant com.tortel.syslog android.permission.READ_LOGS

Supported log types include:

• Kernel logs (dmsg)
• Last kernel log (last_kmsg, if supported by the device)
• Pstore logs
• Main log (Logcat)
• Modem log
• Event logs
• SELinux audit logs

Upon log retrieval, the tool conveniently compresses them into a single zip file, enabling prompt sharing or uploading, which is invaluable for troubleshooting system issues.

New features introduced in version 2.0.0 encompass support for real-time viewing of current system logs. Additionally, users have the capability to embed notes within the zip file and append up to 10 characters to the file name.

The tool utilizes libsuperuser by Jorrit 'Chainfire' Jongma, accessible at https://github.com/Chainfire/libsuperuser, along with AndroidX, the Material Design library, and Android-Terminal-Emulator by Jack Palevich. Additionally, the log scrubbing utility is adapted from the CyanogenMod bug report tool.
